Yes. We can refresh an existing brand without replacing what people recognize, starting from what customers know and where the current identity creates confusion.

## Keep the parts that still do their job.

A familiar name, mark, color, or tone can carry real recognition. We review how those elements work across the places customers meet you, including your website, sales materials, and social channels. If an element still helps people identify and understand you, changing it merely because it feels old may create unnecessary work.

The bigger question is whether your offer or audience has changed. If it has, updating typography alone will not solve a positioning problem. We should settle the message before deciding how far to move the visual system.

## Plan the rollout, not just the design.

A useful refresh defines which applications change first and which can follow later. It also gives your team rules for using the updated assets. The scope should state whether messaging, identity files, guidelines, website changes, and other applications are included. A refresh cannot promise a sales result without a baseline and a way to measure the change.

## How much of the brand should change?

We would first inventory where the brand appears. That can include the website, proposals, presentations, packaging, email templates, social profiles, signage, and materials used by partners. Then we identify the friction: inconsistent visuals, an offer that has evolved, a tone that no longer fits, or a brand system that is difficult for your team to use. Those problems call for different scopes.

A light refresh may refine type, color application, imagery, and usage rules while keeping recognizable elements intact. A deeper effort may revisit positioning, audience language, the relationship between services, and the way the identity appears across channels. If the business has changed substantially, we should not ask a logo adjustment to do the work of a messaging strategy.

## What should you receive and approve?

The proposed deliverables should be concrete. For example, will you receive source files, approved logo variations, a type and color system, examples of use, a voice guide, templates, or updated website copy? Which existing applications will be converted, and which will your team update later? Define who signs off on direction and where feedback is consolidated before the design is applied everywhere.

We also plan for transition. Old and new assets can coexist for a period if the rollout is phased, but the team should know which version is authoritative for new work. If external vendors use the brand, they need the right files and instructions. This is how a refresh becomes a usable operating system instead of a presentation that never reaches the customer.

Bring examples of what you want to preserve as well as what you want to change. That helps us avoid discarding equity while solving the real inconsistency.

## Next step for brand refreshes

Show us the current brand and point to what feels inconsistent. We can help decide whether a targeted refresh or broader strategic work is the right next move.
