## Check whether the right pages can appear.

The checklist does not predict rankings or replace a technical crawl. It gives your team an order for finding the next issue.

- List the pages that matter to a customer decision.
- Confirm each has a deliberate indexation and canonical choice.
- Check whether important pages appear in your sitemap and are reachable from site navigation or relevant links.
- Look for accidental blocks, redirects to irrelevant destinations, and duplicate URLs that compete for the same question.

Do not make every archive, filter, tag, and city variant indexable by default. Ask what distinct answer each URL provides.

## Match each page to one search job.

Write the question a searcher expects the page to answer. Then read the title, main heading, first paragraph, and main action in that order. Do they agree? A service page should explain the service, who it fits, the decisions involved, and the next step. A guide should answer the question before asking for a call.

Use words customers use, but keep them natural. Add context that helps a person decide: inputs, scope, limits, process, and related questions. Remove paragraphs written only to repeat a phrase. Cite a source when a fact depends on outside data.

## Follow the paths between pages.

- Give the page a link from a relevant parent or related topic.
- Use link text that describes the destination.
- Check that related pages have different jobs, not different titles for the same generic copy.
- Fix broken links and orphaned pages before creating a larger content cluster.

## Check the experience and measurement.

Open the page on a narrow screen and at high zoom. Can you read it, use the navigation, complete the main action, and understand errors? Check image alternatives and headings. Large media, intrusive overlays, and unclear forms can undercut the value of otherwise useful content.

Review search performance, landing pages, qualified inquiries, and conversions together. A high impression count for the wrong query is not a business win. What would a visitor do after finding this page, and can you see whether that step works?

Keep a log of the issue, evidence, owner, change, and result. Recheck after release rather than assuming the fix worked.
