Whether you are introducing a new brand or refreshing one, check brand launch readiness by finding gaps in pages, emails, forms, profiles, and staff handoffs before the change.

A new identity can look finished in a presentation while the business is not ready to use it, because a launch also touches sales materials and customer expectations. Check the real destination and the people who own it. A mockup is not evidence that a page, form, or message works after launch.

## The message

- Can a new customer understand what you offer, whom it serves, and how to take the next step?
- Does the positioning match the services and experience the business can actually deliver?
- Have important claims, credentials, results, testimonials, and comparisons been verified and approved?
- Do teams use the same names for services, products, and offers across the website and customer conversations?
- Are limitations or eligibility conditions visible where they affect a decision?

If the offer is still unclear, [brand messaging](https://scayverstaging.1wp.site/services/copywriting/brand-messaging/) and [website copywriting](https://scayverstaging.1wp.site/services/copywriting/website-copywriting/) may need attention before more launch assets are produced.

## The identity system

- Are the current logo files available in the formats people need, with clear rules for light, dark, small, and monochrome use?
- Are typography, color, spacing, imagery, icon, and motion decisions documented enough for consistent application?
- Do the assets have the rights and permissions needed for the planned channels?
- Can the design work on a phone, in email, in print, and in accessible interface states?
- Is there a clear owner for questions that the guidelines do not answer?

A [brand guideline](https://scayverstaging.1wp.site/services/design/brand-guidelines/) should make routine decisions easier. It should not leave staff guessing which file is final.

## The website and conversion path

- Read the site from the visitor’s starting point. Do page titles, navigation, service descriptions, and CTA labels tell the same story?
- Check mobile layout, keyboard navigation, text contrast, image alternatives, performance, and forms.
- Follow every important button to the real destination. Send test submissions and confirm the right team receives them.
- Check redirects when pages or domains change. Old campaign links, bookmarks, and search results may still point to the previous route.
- Confirm analytics and consent behavior against the actual site, not just a tracking plan.

## The channel rollout

- List every place the brand appears: website, search profiles, social accounts, ad destinations, newsletters, proposals, documents, product interfaces, signage, and support messages.
- Decide what changes on launch day, what changes later, and what remains intentionally unchanged.
- Prepare updated descriptions, imagery, and links for each channel. Do not assume every platform displays the same crop or character length.
- Check that any paid campaign points to a page with the new offer and a working action.

## People and operations

- Who can approve final wording, visuals, legal or policy statements, and public replies?
- Have staff been shown the new offer language and where to find the correct assets?
- Does the sales or support team know how to explain the change to existing customers?
- If a name, domain, email address, or account changes, who owns continuity and recovery?
- Is there a way to report a broken link, incorrect detail, or brand misuse after launch?

## Final evidence check

Choose a few representative journeys: a first-time visitor, an existing customer, and a team member updating content. Run each one on the actual site. Record what worked, what failed, and who will fix it. A launch is ready when the essential message and customer path hold up, not when every optional asset is perfect.

If the checklist exposes a gap, use it to sequence the work. A limited, accurate launch can be stronger than a broad rollout that makes promises the operation cannot support.
