With multiple business locations, help people choose the right real location, then make each location page useful enough to support that choice, in a structure that mirrors the business.

## Build a location hub with a job.

It should not be a list of city names built only to catch search traffic.

A hub can help visitors compare locations by place, service availability, booking method, and contact route. It should explain whether appointments are in person, remote, or both. Keep the list current and easy to scan on a phone. If several locations serve different audiences, name those distinctions before a visitor clicks.

A page for an individual location should answer what happens there. Include an accurate address when customers can visit, operating hours, services, accessibility or arrival information when available, and a clear inquiry path. If booking is centralized, say so.

## Separate locations from service areas.

A real office with staff and customer visits is not the same as a region served by a traveling team. Google’s [Business Profile guidelines](https://support.google.com/business/answer/3038177?hl=en) distinguish storefront, service-area, and hybrid models. Your website should make the same distinction in language a customer understands, without copying platform rules into every page.

A company may also deliver digital work remotely across many places. In that case, the page should explain delivery and support rather than imply a separate local operation for every market.

## Avoid duplicate location pages.

If every page uses the same copy, services, CTA, and proof, ask why visitors need separate routes. Real locations often have distinct hours, staff, offerings, access details, or customer questions. Capture those differences. If they do not exist, a well-organized hub may be clearer.

Use a consistent page model so editors know which fields to update, but leave room for genuine differences. A shared structure can make maintenance safer. It should not force repetitive prose where the business conditions differ.

## Connect location and service paths.

Someone may start with a location and then choose a service. Another may start with a service and then need the closest location. Link both ways. Use descriptive labels such as “Website design in this location” only when the page actually explains that service relationship. Do not bury location choice behind a generic contact form.

For a site with many routes, [information architecture](https://scayverstaging.1wp.site/services/design/information-architecture/) can help model the hubs, services, and contact flows before page writing begins.

## Plan updates before adding multiple business locations.

A location model should identify which facts come from a central record and which require a local owner. Names, addresses, phones, hours, service availability, and booking links need a known source. If each page is edited independently, one change can leave several public records in conflict. Test the model with two locations that actually differ. Can the same structure show those differences clearly without forcing empty or false fields? If not, revise the model before publishing a large batch.

## Sketch the hub and one location page.

List all real locations and all service areas separately. For each, record services, customer actions, address visibility, hours, and update owner. Sketch the hub and one location page. Test whether a person can find the right destination in two choices without knowing the business structure in advance.
