Information architecture is the structure behind a website’s pages, labels, navigation, and content relationships. If a visitor cannot predict where a service, resource, or support answer lives, another menu design will not solve the underlying problem. Scayver Graphix maps the content and the customer tasks before defining the hierarchy. ## Start with the content that exists. We inventory current pages, routes, and content types. Then we compare them with the questions visitors bring to the site. Which pages describe an offer? Which help someone choose among services? Which teach, prove, or support? Those distinctions tell us where a page belongs and what should link to it. From that map, we define page families, labels, taxonomy, navigation routes, and relationships. A service may belong in the service archive and link to a relevant industry page or resource. It does not get several competing homes just because different departments use different names for it. ## A sitemap is one output, not the whole job. The proposed work may include a content and route inventory, audience-task map, label and taxonomy rules, sitemap, page-family model, and redirect recommendations. We check whether priority tasks have a clear route, whether each content type has an owner, and whether labels conflict or repeat. The model supports breadcrumbs, search, and future publishing, not just today’s menu.
