Six inputs, asked once
The skill will not start writing until it knows the topic or main keyword, who will read the post, and what the post is for. It also needs the action a reader should take at the end, the platforms for short versions, and any internal pages and anchor text you want linked. If any are missing, it asks for all of them in a single message.
The package you approve first
Before a paragraph is written, you get a title of 60 characters or fewer, a meta description of 140 to 160 characters, a clean slug, and an outline. The outline lists every H2 with one sentence on what it covers, plus the questions the post will answer. A keyword placement map shows where the main keyword, two to four secondary phrases, and three to five longer phrases will land.
Then the skill stops and waits for your explicit approval.
Inside the finished post
The introduction runs 150 to 250 words. It names the intended reader in its first two sentences, and the phrase “In this blog post” never opens it. Five to eight H2 sections follow, and each one carries a real example, numbered steps, an analogy, or a cited statistic.
Five to eight questions come next, written the way people type them into Google. A closing section of 150 to 250 words looks ahead rather than summarizing, and it ends with one specific next step. Paragraphs stay at four lines or fewer, and the main keyword appears two or three times in the body, never more.
Short versions for five channels
After the post, the skill writes three to five pieces for the platforms you named. LinkedIn gets a post of 150 to 300 words with the link saved for the first comment. X gets a short thread with each tweet under 280 characters.
There is also a spoken script of thirty to sixty seconds for TikTok or YouTube Shorts, an Instagram caption of 100 to 150 words, and a newsletter teaser of the same length.
The blog workflow in the seo-blog-writer file
The inputs, the approval step, the post structure, and the checklist every draft must pass are in the seo-blog-writer skill file on GitHub. It is released under the MIT License, “Copyright (c) 2026 ScayverGraphix.” The skills follow the Agent Skills spec published by vercel-labs/skills.
Plan one post before you commit.
The repository suggests starting with a plan rather than a draft.
Use seo-blog-writer to plan a 3,500 word blog post for small business owners comparing CRM tools.
The project readme pairs this skill with seo-content-strategy, which handles the research and briefs. Add both with npx skills add scayver/marketing-skills --skill seo-blog-writer seo-content-strategy.
Length is a default, not a target.
The skill defaults to 3,500 to 5,000 words. Set the length the question needs instead, because a longer post is not a better answer. Check every statistic it cites against a named source, and replace the bracketed internal link markers with your real pages before you publish.
Articles that support your service pages
Our Blog Writing service starts with the question people bring to your business, then decides whether an article is the right format to answer it. Each post connects back to the service page that handles the buying decision.
