What are design mockup services?
Each mockup answers a specific design question. It is never meant to make unfinished work look complete.
This service presents proposed artwork or screens within selected contexts, such as a device frame, printed piece, package, sign, or page setting. A scoped package may include context selection, placed design variants, presentation exports, and notes about the representation and its limits. The exact scenes, source assets, and review rounds need agreement before work begins. A mockup is not a manufactured product, a live website, or a verified customer result.
Choose the context from the review question.
What decision cannot be made from the original file? A device mockup may reveal whether a headline dominates a small screen. A sign mockup may help a team discuss placement and sightline. A packaging mockup may expose a conflict between front-panel hierarchy and the actual container shape. We select a context because it makes that question visible, not because a polished scene looks impressive in a presentation.
The scene must be labeled honestly. If the final material, lighting, crop, screen behavior, or physical dimensions are only approximate, we say so. A realistic image can create unwarranted confidence when those conditions have not been checked. We keep the underlying design and representation separate so feedback targets the right thing.
Use mockups at the right point in the process.
A mockup can support concept selection or stakeholder approval. It can also help compare a small set of options in the same context. It cannot replace a printer proof, functional prototype, engineering review, or real-render test. After a direction is chosen, the final product still needs the appropriate production and accessibility checks.
If the team needs to test interaction and flow, Wireframes and Prototypes is the more useful service. If the underlying asset is not designed yet, Graphic Design or the relevant application service should come first. The mockup is a representation of work, not a substitute for that work.
How the review package moves forward
We identify the decision, audience, and contexts that will make the comparison useful. You provide approved source artwork, usage rights for imagery and templates, and any dimensions or device requirements. We place the work into the selected contexts, check that the representation is accurate enough for its purpose, and prepare the agreed exports with clear limitations.
The strongest mockup is often a simple one. If a scene introduces distracting detail or hides a problem, we change the scene rather than letting presentation polish decide the direction.
Mockups pricing and scope
Mockups are quoted around the decisions they need to show. Screen count, fidelity, responsive views, supplied assets, and review rounds affect price. Mockups may be a milestone inside a larger website or brand proposal but are not automatically a standalone package inclusion. The quote defines previews, editable files, prototype behavior, and implementation boundaries.
See the published packages when mockups are part of a larger project. Standalone review work is estimated separately.
Show the work in the right context.
Identify the design that is waiting on a decision and what the flat file leaves unclear. We choose the smallest set of mockups that lets your team evaluate it honestly.
